October 2019 SAA Meeting Highlights
The Statewide Administration Assembly (SAA) held a regular business meeting on Thursday, Oct. 17. Below are highlights from the meeting.

- SAA representatives met with VP Paul Layer and discussed issues including the Oct.
7 Board of Regents meeting, the change in direction related to single accreditation
and the cancellation of the expedited reviews hosted by Statewide.

- Representatives also voted to hold the annual Thanksgiving potluck on Friday, Nov.

- ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Staff Council hosted a blood drive on Oct. 24 in IARC 501.
- SAA welcomed new member Tito Munoz, Senior Program Specialist for for ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ 529 (formerly the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ College Savings Plan). Tito will serve through June 2020. Representatives are excited to have such an engaged delegation in the Anchorage office.
