The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ inspires learning, and advances and disseminates knowledge through teaching, research, and public service, emphasizing the North and its diverse peoples.

P01.01.020. University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Anchorage Mission Statement.

The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Anchorage (UAA) transforms lives through teaching, research, community engagement, and creative expression in a diverse and inclusive environment. Serving students, the state, and the communities of Southcentral ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ, UAA is a comprehensive, open-access, public university established on the ancestral lands of the Dena'ina, Ahtna, Alutiiq/Sugpiaq, and Eyak/dAXunhyuu Peoples.

The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Fairbanks is a Land, Sea, and Space Grant university and an international center for research, education, and the arts, emphasizing the circumpolar North and its diverse peoples. ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ integrates teaching, research, and public service as it educates students for active citizenship and prepares them for lifelong learning and careers.

P01.01.040. University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Southeast Mission Statement.

The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Southeast is a student-centered university that provides instruction in liberal arts, professional, and technical fields. On the homelands of the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian peoples, we serve the coastal environments, cultures, economies, and communities of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ, through interdisciplinary education, workforce development, and scholarship, research, and creative activity.

P01.01.050. University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ System Office Mission Statement.

Through its support of the Board of Regents, the three universities with distinct missions, and their community campuses, the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ System Office advances higher education and honors the Indigenous and diverse peoples of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ. The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ System Office manages corporate responsibilities, strategically stewards shared resources, and works with the universities to implement Regents' policies and directions to align with current and future needs of the state.
