Practicum in Public Health Scholarship Available

The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Foundation announces the availability of the Practicum in Public Health Scholarship available to graduate students enrolled in the Master of Public Health. The minimum award is $3,600 for the 2010-2011 academic year.

This scholarship is intended to be used for the support of studies in the field of Public Health, focused specifically in ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ. Applicants must be willing to commit to a minimum of 240 hours of practicum over the course of a year to an organization within ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ to support their master dissertation. Applicants must be an ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æn resident enrolled in a Master of Public Health program. ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Native/American Indian students are preferred, however, all students interested in pursuing a career related to tribal health will be considered.

Applicant must submit a resume and a letter of commitment to practicum signed by both the applicant and mentor organization. The deadline for applying is June 15, 2010.
