Honorary Degrees

The recognition of selfless dedication to the betterment of mankind has been an overriding theme in the bestowing of honorary degrees by the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Board of Regents. Chosen for their leadership roles in the governmental, humanitarian and scientific worlds, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æns and non-ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æns have been selected for this distinguished honor over the years of the institution's existence.

At the commencement ceremonies, honorary degree recipients receive a certificate and a hood.
