  • UA Board of Regents approves tuition increase, sets aside $1.5 million for student financial aid

    The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Board of Regents voted to increase the amount undergraduate students pay for college tuition by 5 percent beginning in fall semester 2020, but directed the administration to invest $1.5 million of tuition revenue to financial aid for students at each university. The UA tuition rate remains well below the tuition rates at most universities in the west.

  • All UA statewide sites to transition from Roxen to OU Campus website platform

    OIT is in the process of migrating all UA websites from Roxen to OU Campus. OU Campus is a web content management system that's fast and easy to use, and is designed specifically for higher education. It's currently used by hundreds of colleges and universities. The new system features a number of advanced layouts and features based on modern website design trends and the needs of university users. The new OU Campus templates meet required ADA compliance standards, as well as contain all disclaimers required by federal law.

  • Shredway pick up scheduled for Feb. 7

    January 30, 2020

    Shredway is scheduled to come for a pickup next Friday, Feb. 7. If you have items that you need to have shredded, please contact Aerin at catroxel@alaska.edu or extension 8365, no later than 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6.

  • Premera dental plan adds 38 additional in-network dentists

    Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ has expanded the dental plan for University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æs. Starting January 1, 2020, ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æs covered on the university's health plan have access to more in-network dentists.

  • Options to complete your biometrics screening

    UA ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æs, spouses or financially interdependent partners who are currently on the UA Choice Plan have several options to complete their biometric screenings. A biometric screening is one of the requirements to be eligible for the $600 wellness rebate.

  • 2019 W-2 Available in UAOnline

    January 28, 2020

    UA ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æs may now access the online version of their 2019 W-2 in UAOnline at https://uaonline.alaska.edu. After you login, select 'Employee Services' and then 'Tax Forms'.

  • Now underway: Butrovich Orphaned Coffee Mug Drive

    Mugs wanted! Here's how it works: check your kitchenettes at work (or your cupboards at home) for any coffee mugs that may be multiplying in hidden corners. If you find orphans that need to be rehomed, bring them to Lisa in Butrovich Suite 102, by the windows, behind the purple vine.

    Now that it's winter, here is a reminder about parking lot etiquette in the Butrovich lot. Parking lot tips: Since the snow is covering up the lines, please use the markings on the retaining wall. *Your car should be in the middle of the horizontal lines.*
