    Fairbanks, AK - Scientists within the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ System (ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ, UAA, UAS), including graduate students and faculty members, are invited to apply for the Angus Gavin Memorial Migratory Bird Research Grant (Gavin Grant). Applications may be submitted through Friday, January 17, for 2025 field season proposals. The selection committee will make award selections between $15,000 - $30,000 for one or more applicants.

As of December 2021, more than $175 million in private donations have been contributed by alumni, friends, companies, and private organizations, including 35 gifts of $1 million or more.
