TIAA RetirePlus Select Program Reminder: Make your choices today!

Starting on Thursday, October 17, participants can choose from the new RetirePlus Select investment options offered by TIAA. Changes can be made from October 17 through market close on October 22. (Market closes at 2:00pm ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ.) Any changes that an ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ makes with regards to RetirePlus Select will take effect on October 25, 2024. 

As a reminder, if a participant has a current investment of any amount in any of the Nuveen Lifecycle Index Funds, they will be enrolled in a new account and eligible investments will automatically redirect to a RetirePlus Select moderate model portfolio that aligns with the anticipated retirement age.

Actions to consider: 

    • Access the new account online: Visit TIAA.org/alaska and log in. If new to TIAA — select “Log in†then click “Need online access?†and follow the prompts
    • Review investment allocations and the new TIAA RetirePlus Select® program
    • Decide how to invest:
      • Remain in the TIAA RetirePlus Select moderate model portfolio that has been chosen based on anticipated retirement age
      • Personalize the model portfolio
      • Opt out of the TIAA RetirePlus Select program and choose different investments from the plan
    • Check and/or update beneficiaries for all accounts
    • Listen to a reviewing the RetirePlus Select plan changes
