Unique UA benefit for ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æs with children and future education aspirations
ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ 529 would like to remind UA ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æs that NOW is a great time to start, review, or increase your education savings contributions for a loved one.
UA ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æs with college-aged children, and/or with a desire to attain their own
degree, are able to supplement the UA Employee Tuition Waiver with money saved in
a tax-advantaged ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ 529 account. UA ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æs have the added ease of making contributions
directly from a paycheck through payroll deduction or direct deposit. To participate:
- Open an account, and
- Complete and return the payroll deduction form, or
- Complete and return the form, or call 1-800-478-0003 to receive a unique routing and account number and add ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ 529 as one of your direct deposit options.
ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ 529 is offered by the . It was established by the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ in 2001 with a goal of helping residents prepare for education expenses. This month marks the trust’s 20th year of providing low cost, high quality investment options for participants.
