April 15 - May 3rd, 2024

Open Enrollment is right around the corner from April 15 to May 3, 2024! The Benefits team is putting the final touches on all our resources and we will be sending more detailed information out around April 1, 2024. Below are a few items to keep in mind as you prepare.

Benefits Training
This year we will be hosting several trainings throughout the month of April with many of our vendors. They will go into detail about the benefits they help support for UA ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æs. These training sessions will be given by the following vendors. If you click on the link, you’ll be directed to their UA Benefits webpage where you can learn a bit more about the vendor and benefit. A final training schedule will be provided next week!

Want to get a head start on training? Head over to TouchCare’s . This on-demand webinar will provide you with an overview of common health care terms and get you prepared for Open Enrollment.

New Benefits!
This year, UA benefits will implement two new programs: (1) the Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Account (LP FSA) and (2) MASA Emergency Medical Transportation Solutions. Below is a high-level overview of these benefits. More information will be provided in the coming newsletters, during the benefit training sessions, and on our Open Enrollment website.

  • Limited Purpose FSA - this benefit is available to benefit-eligible ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æs who are on the HDHP and are contributing to a Health Savings Account (HSA) at the same time. This account is a use-it-or-lose-it account (like all other FSAs) and must be enrolled in each year to participate. It is used for dental and vision expenses only so that those who contribute to an HSA can keep their HSA dollars in their account for continued growth.
  • MASA Emergency Medical Transport Solutions - this benefit is available to all benefit-eligible ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æs and provides financial protection and assistance in times of emergent transportation needs. This benefit will be completed on a self-bill basis.

Open Enrollment Website
The Open Enrollment Website is still under construction. We plan to have this ready to share around April 1, 2024 so keep an eye out for the link to the webpage to learn all about Open Enrollment this year.

Reminder - This year, forms will only need to be completed by ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æs who wish to make changes to their current enrollment(s); add or remove a dependent child, spouse or Financially Interdependent Partner (FIP); or to enroll in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

Emailed via benefits newsletter on 3/19/2024, 3/26/2024, 3/29/2024.
